Nowadays, game shows on TV are very popular among all ages of people. From the young to the old, the girl to the boy, everyone knows at least one game show on TV. But besides their advantages, they also have many disadvantages that you may not know.

First, game shows on TV usually waste our time. I admit that gameshows are so entertaining and relaxing but because of their benefits, they make us so lazy and hesitant. They keep us from doing and working. We sit in front of the television and watch our favorite gameshow instead of going to work or doing something more useful. We delay everything to spend time for an episode of Running Man or Who wants to be a millionaire. I think for that time, we can do many things that more beneficial like doing exercise, doing gardening, visiting your relatives,… instead of watching something not concerning to your real life.

Secondly, we can't be sure that all of the gameshows are entertaining and educational. For example that Blue whale is a game show, it makes a child die due to following the action on TV. It is too dangerous cause a child cannot distinguish between a good gameshow and a danger. And their parents also can not always sit next to their children to care about what their child watching. It is not only dangerous but also inconvenient.

Thirdly, this is only my opinion, gameshows make us think earning money is easy. Believe me, you, at least one time, think you can reach 150 million when you watch Who wants to be a millionaire. Some people also think about a dream that they can win the highest prize when they join a game show. Those people only dream of making money from the easy thing but never do anything to earn it. Gameshow gives us many dreams that will never come true.

Finally, I don't negate that gameshow is so entertaining and beneficial but the disadvantages it brings are not little so please be careful and a smart user when you watch gameshow.
