1. Angkor Wat:
A: Have you ever seen pictures of Angkor Wat? It's absolutely breathtaking.
B: Oh yeah, I've seen a few. It's in Cambodia, right? What's the story behind it?
A: It's a massive temple complex, built in the 12th century. It's the largest religious monument in
the world! I'd love to visit someday. Have you ever been to Cambodia?
B: No, I haven't. It's definitely on my list though. Imagine seeing something that old in person!
2. Dinh Bang Communal House:
A: I'm doing my project on Dinh Bang Communal House. It's this amazing old building in Bac Ninh.
B: Oh, I think I've heard of it. What's so special about it?
A: Well, it's a national historic site, and it took 36 years to build! It's about 300 years old now. Isn't
that incredible?
B: Wow, that's a long time! What does it look like?
3. Windsor Castle:
A: I was reading about Windsor Castle. It's where the British royals live, right?
B: Yeah, or at least one of their homes. It's huge! Did you know it's the oldest and largest
occupied castle in the world?
A: No way! That's amazing. I'd love to see it someday. Do you know when it was built?
B: Around a thousand years ago, I think.
4. Preserving Heritage:
A: I think it's so important to preserve our historical sites and traditions.
B: Absolutely. Why do you think that is?
A: Well, they connect us to our past, you know? They teach us about how people lived and what
they valued. It helps us understand who we are.
B: I agree. What are some ways you think we can preserve our heritage?
5. Fish and Chips:
A: I had fish and chips for the first time yesterday. It was pretty good!
B: Oh yeah? That's like, the national dish of England, right?
A: Yeah, something like that. It's really popular there. Have you ever tried it? What did you think?
B: I have, and I loved it! Especially with lots of vinegar.
