Would you like to try this of egg?
We eat eggs every day. There are many types of eggs to choose from and many ways
to cook them, from frying to boiling. In Vietnam, however, there is an unusual type of

egg known as the century egg or trứng bắc thảo. A century is equal to 100 years, but
a century egg is not that old.
A century egg is ready when it turns dark brown and has a strong, salty taste. The
B common way to make century eggs is to cover chicken eggs or duck eggs with clay,
wood ash, and salt. Then, keep them there for two or three months.
In Ho Chi Minh, century eggs are very popular. It is easy to buy them at any egg stall
