I. Grammar:
1. Tenses: (Các thì của động từ)
- Present simple: Hiện tại đơn: * to be: S + is/am/are + ...
S + isn’t/ am not/ aren’t +...
is/ am/ are + S + ... ?
* ordinary verbs: S + V/ V(-s/-es) + ...
S + don’t/ doesn’t + V(inf) + ...
do/ does + S + V(inf) + ...
* Adverbs: everyday, every morning ..., always, usually, often, sometimes, never
- Present progressive: Hiện tại tiếp diễn: S + is/am/are (not) + V-ing + ...
is/ am/ are + S + V-ing ... ?
* Adverbs: now, at the moment
- Future with be going to: S + is/am/are (not) + going to + V(inf)... (thì tương lai với be going to: sẽ) is/ am/ are + S + going to + V(inf)... ?
* Adverbs: tomorrow, tonight, next week...
- Modal verbs: can/can’t
S + must/ mustn’t + V(infinitive)
should/ shouldn’t
Ex: We can park here.
You must turn right. You mustn’t turn left.
We should save water.
2. Question words:
What, Where, When, Who, Which, Why, How, How often, How old, How much, How many, How long Ex: How much is it? (để hỏi về giá tiền của cái gì)
Which sports do you play?
Where are you from?
How much + DT không đếm được ?
How many + DT đếm được dạng số nhiều ? hỏi về số lượng
3. a/ an/ some/ any/ a lot of/ lots of/ many/ much/ a few/ a little:
some
any đứng trước DT không đếm được hoặc DT đếm được ở dạng số nhiều
- some dùng trong câu khẳng định, any dùng trong câu phủ định và nghi vấn
Ex: There are some oranges in the fridge.
Are there any eggs in the kitchen?
a lot of = lots of = many = much : nhiều
Ex: There are a lot of boks on the shelf.
4. Prepositions: in, on, at, of, under, behind, to the left/ right of, opposite, between, to, from,
5. Comparative and superlative: (so sánh hơn và so sánh hơn nhất)
long - longer - longest
big - bigger - biggest
tall - taller - tallest
* So sánh hơn với than : Ex: Ho Chi Minh City is bigger than the capital.
6. Some other structures: (Một số cấu trúc khác):
would like to + V(inf)/ want to + V(inf)/ like + V-ing
Let’s + V(inf)
Why don’t we + V(inf) + ...?
What about + V-ing + ... ?
