Exercise 5
Listen to Amanda talking to Samir about some photos of her family. Choose the correct answers.
Samir: Hi, Amanda. Is now a good time to show me your photos from the summer or are you working? Amanda: I’m working, but I’m happy to take a break for ten or fifteen minutes. Would you like a coffee? Samir: Yes, a coffee would be great. Amanda: OK. Let me show you the photos, then. This is a photo of me and my brothers and sisters. We’re on the beach. Samir: Wow, there are seven of you! You’re a really big family. Amanda: Yes, I’ve got three sisters and three brothers. My oldest sister is 32 and my two youngest brothers are 8. No, sorry, they’re 9 now.  Samir: Are they twins? Amanda: Yes, that’s right. Samir: And how old is your other brother? Amanda: He’s the same age as me. James and I are twins as well! We’re both 27 this year. Samir: Really! Amanda: This is a photo of my dad with his younger brother, my Uncle Tom. Uncle Tom’s just got married and that’s his new wife, Maria. Samir: Is she English? Amanda: No, she isn’t. She’s Spanish. Samir: Yes, she looks Italian or Spanish with her black hair. Amanda: This is another photo of my dad. Samir: And who are the four children? Amanda: They’re my dad’s four grandchildren. Samir: Are they all boys? Amanda: No, they aren’t. He’s got one grandson and three granddaughters.

What is Amanda doing?
