I`m glad to receive your letter. Fortunately, my mother and I will have a same time week off in this August so it is suitable for both. We are really interested in the up-coming trip with your family. By some of the pictures I sent you, you can see that my mother is a little bit thin but she`s really good at travelling. I`m the opposite. I often get car sick when passing by car or coach. Poor me! I think I should take medicine before the voyage. There are many scenic beauty places in Da Lat, where I haven`t been to before. I hope that we will have a great time together. Where will we come first? And what kind of transportation will we have? please, let`s my mother and me know! Hope to see you soon.

Nowadays, the mission of education is the most important thing to do. And there are many methods which have been given to achieve this social practical duty. Some people believe that giving a lot of homework helps school children to be better in their studying while others don`t think it`s a good way. In this writing, I will mainly discuss on the above statement.
     In the first place, teachers always hope that their students are the best, they can answer or submit all the questions whenever they are asked. In order to check their understanding, teachers should do this traditional method - giving homework. To be honest, I am a teacher too, so I also use this way to evaluate my students after lessons. I often send them some online quizzes, handout exercises and ask them to finish before the next lesson. By completing the assignment of school children, teachers may get the answer of how the presentation / performance effective and if she / he need to improve the teaching / presenting technique. This means we can not deny the positive effect of homework.
     On the other hand, some teachers apply the communicative methods in teaching they can control their own ways to check their students understanding immediately right after the lessons finish. And according to them, they needn`t assign any homework for more. Recently, I heard a memorable statement saying by a skillful teacher that: "If they are more interested in the topic, they can search or ask for further information. They are very good at computing." It is an undeniable saying. I have adapted this advice after that. Using the various techniques after presentation to check the school children`s understanding is more exciting than doing homework at home and individually.
     To sum up, each group of the skillful teachers have their own ways to make their students to become better and better day by day. Modern teachers should be flexible to apply all new methods for their white students.
