Being a reporter is an exciting job, and I love doing it, but I didn't always want to be a reporter.
When I was a child, I loved animals and wanted to become a vet, but I didn't do very well in science at
school. That's when I knew I had to choose something else.
We received some career advice at school about different types of jobs. One of them was being a
reporter, but I wasn't interested in that job then. Later, at university, my friends worked on the
university newspaper, and I joined the team just to spend time with them, but it was so much fun. This
