GERUND AND TO-INFINITIVE
A/ LÝ THUYẾT
I) GERUND: lànhữngđộngtừthêm –ing.
* Nhữngđộngtừtheosaubởi GERUND:
admit (thừanhận) suggest (đềnghị) risk :liềulĩnh
avoid (tránh) give up (bỏ) recollect (hồi tưởng lại)
appreciate (đánhgiácao) hate (ghét) regret (hốitiếc ,ânhận)
consider (cholà ,xemlà) imagine = fancy (tưởngtượng) resist ( ghịu được, chống lại)
deny (phủnhận) mention (đềcập ,nóiđến) start / begin
delay (trìhoãn) mind (phảnđối,phiền) support (ủnghộ)
detest = dislike : ko thích mean (invole) understand
discuss (talk about) miss (nhớ /bỏ lỡ) spend
dread (sợ) prefer (thíchhơn)
enjoy (thưởng thức) prevent (ngăn)
escape (trốnthoát) postpone = put off (trìhoãn)
finish (hoànthành) quit (từbỏ)
forgive recall (gợilại,nhớlại)
like / love / hate / enjoy / dislike + V-ing :sởthích
* Nhữngthànhngữvới “go +V-ing”:
Go camping (đicắmtrại) go shopping (đimuasắm) go swimming
Go dancing (đikhiêuvũ) go fishing (đicâucá) go sightseeing
* Preposition + gerund (giớitừ +gerund):
be interested in (thíchthú) think about (nghĩvề) apologize for (xinlỗivề)
insist on (khăngkhăngvề) talk about (nóivề) instead of (thayvì)
look forward to (mongđợi)
II) TO-INFINITIVE
* Nhữngđộngtừtheosaubởi TO-INFINITIVE:
decide to (quyếtđịnh) pretend to (giảvờ) would like to
