1. Talk about your school
My new school is ………………………….. secondary school. It is at ……………………..
street, ………………………… district. It is not far from my house. I go to my school every day
on foot. My school is exactly beautiful and big. There is a small playground in our schoolcompound. We all play there during the break time, everyday. My school has a good library, an
office, and ………classrooms. All the students of the school are friendly and helpful. And the
teachers are excellent too. I love my school very much.
2. Talk about your house
I live in a big house. My house is a country house, but it's really beautiful. My house is blue.
There are 5 rooms in my house : a living room, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom. In the
living room there is a television, fan, and a large table in the middle with 6 chairs. There is a big
bed in the bedroom with a lamp on the wall.  In the kitchen there is a big fridge ad a cupboard.
The bathroom is next to the kitchen. In the bathroom there is a bath and shower, a basin and a
toilet. I like living room best because I can watch TV after school. I love my house very much.
3. Talk about your best friend
My best friend is …………………... She is one of my classmates. We learn together for a
long time. She has a long black hair and it is straight. She is tall and thin. She is very kind and
and generous. She spends her free time reading books and she is a hard working student who
always gets good grades. Unlike me, she likes sports very much. She plays badminton very good.
I am very happy to have a friend like her. I wish our friendship will last forever.
My best friend is …….... He was my classmate in primary school. He is tall and handsome.
He has black and short hair. He likes watching TV and listening to music. He is very friendly and
funny. He always makes me happy. He helps me a lot of things : he pick up me to school, he help
me to do hard homeworks. Nam is my best friend until now.
5. Describe a place you want to visit
I want to visit Đa Lat city best. Da Lat is a famous tourist city with many beautiful scenes
such as the Flower Garden, Cam Ly Waterfall, and Xuan Huong Lake. This city has very cool
and fresh air, and the stunning natural beauty here attracts many tourists. More and more tourism
and relaxation facilities in Da Lat, such as villas, hotels, and golf courses, are being constructed.
Da Lat is situated at an altitude of 1,500m, so there is an abundance of cold-weather vegetables
like corn, cauliflower, and cabbage. However, the most prominent crop is strawberries. Da Lat
city is also a haven of flowers, including orchids, roses, and chrysanthemums. I love Da Lat, and
I strongly encourage you to visit this place.
My first visit place is Nha Trang, the coastal city. It was a pleasant and memorable trip. Nha
Trang, the capital of Khanh Hoa province, has one of the most popular municipal beaches in all
of Vietnam. In Nha Trang, nature beauties are so tempting. Waves crashing onto the cliffs; the
soft sigh of the sea breeze; clean white sands and turquoise waters; it all makes for a stunning
landscapes. On my visit to Nha Trang, I used to get up early each morning to stroll along the

beach – a chance to breath in the fresh sea air and enjoy the sunrise across the water. One
attraction that captivated me three years ago and still it does is the collection of small offshore
islands. Hon Tre is the largest of the islands, and Monkey island is, as the name suggests, the
home of hundreds of wild monkeys. Yen island is known for its swifts' nests. Nha Trang is one of
the greatest holiday destination. I hope to have chance to come back.
6. Your Tet holiday.
Tet is the most traditional festival in Vietnam. It is a special occasion, to celebrate the start
of a new year. Tet is mostly celebrated at the end of January and the beginning of February.
People usually prepare special traditional foods, clean and repaint the house, and spend time with
family and friends. Almost every family buys peach or apricot blossoms to decorate the house. It
is the time for people to enjoy a joyful and relaxing period with their families and friends. On
New Year's Eve, most families gather together to enjoy a warm dinner and participate in a
traditional ritual to honor their ancestors. On the first day of the New Year, young people offer
their best wishes to the elderly and receive lucky money. During the rest of Tet, people often visit
pagodas to pray for good fortune, peace, and health. In conclusion, Tet is an important occasion
for families and friends to come together and motivate people to strive harder in the coming year.
